The Origin Story
Every slab of stone has a story — shaped by pressure, time, and transformation. So does US Stone Group.
For more than 25 years, we’ve been part of the natural stone industry, and over that time, we saw the same challenge again and again: too many layers between the source and the customer.
Stone could pass through three, four, sometimes even five different hands before reaching a showroom. With every step came added costs, added uncertainty, and less visibility into where the material came from and how it was handled.
We believed there was a better way.
Instead of relying on layers of brokers and middlemen, we chose to go directly to the source. We secured access to our own quarries and built our own manufacturing capabilities, giving us greater control over the entire journey — from the mountain to the finished surface.
But going direct was only the beginning.
Our deep connection to the material led us to look at stone differently — not simply as something to source and sell, but as something to innovate, transform, and redefine.

US Stone Group pioneered the concept and production of semi-precious stone slabs, developing a way to transform rare, naturally occurring semi-precious materials into extraordinary architectural surfaces. We took materials traditionally appreciated as gemstones and decorative objects and reimagined them on a monumental scale.
We then pushed that idea even further, pioneering the production of jumbo-format semi-precious stone slabs — creating surfaces that allowed the natural beauty, color, movement, and depth of these extraordinary materials to be experienced at an entirely new scale.
